Sonnenschein Region PCA Honda IndyGrand Prix
Here’s the scoop for the Honda IndyGrand Prix weekend. Activities at the track April 5-7.
9 races with lots of practices and qualifying sessions. Event schedule not yet posted but here is the link.…/event-schedule/

Tickets - all info is accessible from this link
- You will need General Admission tickets (3 days is $69).
- Highly recommend the garage pass which is a separate ticket you can get for one day or all 3 days. This lets you walk the garage area and talk with drivers and pit crews. Really cool to see and hear the cars up close. (3 days is $50).
- Highly recommend you drive your Porsche and purchase the Hagerty Car Corral parking. This is the best parking available. And your baby will be on display! Must purchase this in advance for $40.

I selected an area that is near The Summit and lots of eating places. You are welcome to pick your hotel just thought if we stayed near each other we could get together easier for evening outings. It is about 25 min from the track.
- We booked a room at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Birmingham Colonnade, 3930 Colonnade Pkwy, Birmingham, AL 35243. There are several hotels on this street in the Marriott and Hilton chains. Prices are reasonable and rooms are available. Suggest you book a room soon since they will be scarce and price increases expected as they fill out.
- There is also camping at the track and the info is available on the link above.

Barber Museum
- Now for some inside info. If you are a member of the Barber Museum Turn 9 Club you can sign up for free breakfast and lunch served inside the museum. This includes drinks and snacks. Additionally you will have access to the museum and out onto the walkways over the track during the races. This is very exciting! (Also indoor facilities and a place out of the rain should there be inclement weather.)…/clients/bvmm/membershipJoin.jsp

Since we live more than 100 miles from the track the Traveler option is an even better deal. ??

More information will be forthcoming as the date approaches!
