A Fun Social Event and Concours One will be held at the Klairmont Kollections Auto Museum in Chicago. Bring the family to enjoy viewing all the Porsches, socializing with your friends and visiting the fabulous Automotive Museum. The Food truck from Beaver's Donuts and Coffee will be available. Sandwich shop across the street too. Take pictures in front of an authentic restored Good Humor Ice Cream Truck. The Klairmont Kollections Automotive Museum in Chicago is a new location for our 1st Concours of the 2024 season. The Museum is nicely situated just east of Cicero Ave. and just South of Belmont Ave. We want to encourage everyone to come out to see lots of beautiful Porsches and more than 300 beautiful Classic Cars in the Museum. Even if you have been to the Museum before, come on back. There are always new things at the Klairmont !! The Concours will be held in the Klairmont Kollection parking lot. Concours entry fee: $45 (includes 1 adult ticket to enter the museum) Concours only entry fee: $35 Museum entry fee for Additional/Social adults is $20, and 12 yrs old and under is $15. Everyone is encouraged to donate to the club charity and be eligible to win raffle prizes at the end of the Concours. Schedule: 8:30 am Concours registration opens 9:30 am Judges meeting 9:30 am Social registration opens 9:45 am Judging begins 10:00 am to 4 pm. Museum is open. Tour at leisure. With wrist band, in and out privileges (pre-register) 12:00 pm Awards ceremony and raffle drawings. New Concours classes for this year: GRAND TOURING CLASS 240 points Preparation Group 1 Class: exterior, interior, storage, engine Vehicle models: 356, 914/4 & 914/6, 911/912 (1965-1973), 911/912 (1974-1998; 964/993), 911 (1999-2012; 996/997), 924, 944, 968, 928, (1977-1995), Cayenne, Panamera (2000-2011) Limited Production, Modified, Factory Race Preparation Group 2 Class: exterior, interior, storage, undercarriage Vehicle models 911(991, 2012-on / 992, 2018 -on), 1996-1998 911 GT1, Boxster, Cayman (1997-2012), Boxster, Cayman (2013-on), Cayenne, Panamera, & Macan (2012-on), Taycan TOURING CLASS 175 points Preparation TOURING CLASS: exterior, interior, storage (Group 1 & 2 All Vehicles) STREET CLASS 145 points Preparation STREET: exterior and interior only (Group 1 & 2 All Vehicles) EXHIBITION CLASS 75 points Preparation EXHIBITION: exterior only (Group 1 & 2 All Vehicles) The classes are set up to mirror those used at Porsche Parade and provide several choices from beginner to expert Concours participants. We offer instruction and coaching at every level! Also, the Exhibition class is exterior only, which makes it a great way to start participating in Concours events. Remember to wear your name badge and introduce yourself to new members!! It is all about the people!!! |

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Porsche Club of America-Chicago Region, as well as its directors, officers, employees, agents, advisors, and assigns (collectively, the "Club") from any loss, liability, damage, fees, or cost, including bodily injury or property damage of any sort, that I may incur or cause arising out of or related to my presence at or participation in the Club's events, whether caused by the negligence or fault of the Club, or otherwise. I acknowledge that I remain solely responsible at all times for the safety and roadworthiness of my car, including its condition, preparation, and suitability for the Club's events, as well as my own physical and mental fitness to participate in Club events. By participating in the Club's events, I am assuming all responsibility for risk of damage to or caused by my car, and agree that if I or my car damages or destroys any event facilities or property, I will reimburse the Club for any such expenses incurred, including without limitation, all costs and fees incurred in connection with the clean up, repair, or removal of any damaged property, spilled fluids, discarded tires or other scrap, or fees for late exit from the event facilities. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Club and any supplementary rules or regulations provided in connection with the Club's events or by the event facilities owners or operators. |
