Description Thursday October 22nd
• Travel to the Hampton Inn, Helen, GA
Registration & AL PCA will host a welcome reception at the Lodge at Unicoi State Park

Friday October 23rd
• Karting Grand Prix @ Atlanta Motorsports Park. We will return via backcountry roads
We’ll spend the day @ Atlanta Motorsports Park, karting on their .85 mi track which has 43 ft. elevation changes. Drivers will have a practice round. A ladies only event will be scheduled if there is demand. Drivers will then participate in a Karting Mini Grand Prix with a podium ceremony & medals for the top three finishers.  Karting is costs $69/pp, this includes karting, safety gear and instruction, lunch is an additional $17; lunch only option is available. After lunch we will gather for parade laps on the main track, using our vehicles. Optionally (based upon interest) we can participate in wet skid pad driving and/or an autocross. (44 mi from Helen)
• SPA - Nacoochee Crossing Wellness Center & Day Spa
Enjoy a day of luxury! Select from the following: Swedish, stone, deep tissue or oil massage, facial or hand treatment, relaxation, rebalancing or head to toe package. Whatever you decide upon, you will certainly be pampered. Charges apply. (2 mi from Helen)

• Hiking - on your own

• Happy hour & dinner - Unicoi State Park & Tavern
Enjoy a beverage (on your own) before digging into a Bavarian buffet - hosted by AL PCA




Saturday October 24th
• Off-road driving tour(s) for our AWD members (dependent upon interest)

• Ride the Blue Ridge scenic railway
Enjoy a four hour round-trip from Blue Ridge, GA to McCaysville, GA/Copperhill, TN to explore the area, shops & have lunch during the two hour lay-over. $44 - $79 + lunch (49 mi from Helen)

• Tour a gold mine & pan for gold in Dahlonega
Join us for a tour of the Consolidated Gold Mine followed by gold panning followed by a self-pay lunch in historic Dahlonega @ one of three recommended restaurants. $18 + lunch (27 mi from Helen)
• Visit Granddaddy Mimms’ Moonshine Distillery for a tour & tasting
Join tour leaders Jim & Glenda Sparacio for a guided tour & tasting followed by a self-pay lunch @ Brother’s Restaurant at Willow Ranch. Returning, you will stop @ the famous Alexander’s in Blairsville, GA for a one-of-a-kind yesteryear shopping experience.  $10 + lunch (21 mi from Helen)

• Visit Wolf Mtn Winery for a tour & tasting
Karl Boegner will give a personal tour of his German car collection, which includes 10 Porsches. After that we’ll have lunch & then tour the winery, followed by a wine tasting which will include a souvenir wine glass. $50 + lunch (26 mi from Helen)

• Hiking - on your own

• Dinner
We will be immersing ourselves in the festivities surrounding the 50th anniversary of October Fest in the ‘Bavarian’ style town of Helen with self-pay dining options within walking distance
Refund Policy CANCELLATION POLICY:

o The Entry Fee will be refunded less a $50. 00 administration fee if the event chairman or registrar receives notification in writing or via e-mail to the address stated in the specific event application fifteen (15) days prior to the event. 

o There are no refunds within fourteen (14) days of the event. 

If a check is accepted for payment and that check is returned insufficient there will be a $50. 00 return fee assessed. 
Indemnity Policy I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers of this event and their agents, with respect to the condition and preparation of my registered car, or any subsequent failure or damage to my registered car or its occupants as a result of such failures. 

I understand that I am required to reimburse the PCA Alabama Region and/or Barber Motorsports Park for any fees or charges assessed for physical damage to the track or its facilities caused by myself, my crew, and my guests and that these are not covered in my registration fee. 

I acknowledge that at all times I remain solely responsible for the safety and roadworthiness of my registered car.
