Carrera of the Americas" PCA Club Racing and Advanced Solo High Performance Driver Education event at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX presented by Porsche Austin and Park Place Porsche Dallas.**

Held at the 3.4 mile Circuit of the Americas, one of the most challenging tracks in the U.S. and the only Formula 1 venue in the U.S, this year’s race will be one of the best ever.

(No Thursday track time)
Friday - Practice sessions, practice starts, and fun race
Saturday - 2 Sprint races
Sunday - 60 minute Enduro races

This is the first race of the 2021 Clubsport Series and a 944 Cup West series race.  The points earned at this Club Race will count towards the 2021 944 Cup West Racing Series as well as the 2021 PCA National Championship Series.

Parking: We will try to limit our parking to the Main Paddock at COTA. If you have special
parking needs (such as a large-footprint vehicle or want to be paddocked together with particular people) please contact our event Parking Guru, Dave Foreman dave@tlbmotorsports.com to
make special arrangements. 

Garages: The coveted F1 garages are available to rent for the weekend. Each garage holds four cars. Garages are assigned on a first to register and pay basis. If requested, we will seek to provide those who want to park together an opportunity to do so. If
you want to park adjacent to another group, please contact contact Tim Strehl at jtstrehl@gmail.com 713-715-8025 as soon as possible after registration opens.

A block of rooms at the Staybridge Suites Austin Airport, 1611 Airport Commerce Drive, Austin, TX, 78741, Tel. 855-680-3239, which is located minutes from both Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and COTA.  This the same hotel we used last year.  When you call for reservations, just tell them you are with the Porsche Race group.  They are going to open for breakfast at 6:00 AM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

If anyone wants to rent golf carts, please contact Andy at KC Golfcarts.  andy@kcgolfcarts.com.  If you go to the KC website and rent a cart you’ll have to pay when you rent.  If you contact Andy directly he’ll ask for payment a day or two before the race.  That way if you have to cancel, there are no issues over a refund.

Cancellation policy: A full refund will be issued for cancellations received before February 14th. A $50.00 service fee will be deducted from all cancellations received between February 15 and February 19th. No refunds for cancellations received after February 19th. No exceptions. Registration will close on Friday, February 21st.

Agreement I understand that my registration for this event will not be approved or confirmed until payment is received and I have submitted all required paperwork and requested information which may include (but is not limited to) on-line waivers, log book information, guest information, and team information. Any 'special circumstances' regarding fee payment should be brought to the attention of the event registrar immediately.

All drivers are required to complete at-track registration to receive admittance wristbands. 

All guests, crew and volunteers are required to complete at-track registration (which will include signing waivers) to receive admittance wristbands. Minor waivers are required for all attendees who are minors (anyone under the age of 18). Please review the event file: Minor Waivers – an update.

This event is held under the current PCA Club Racing Rules.

All PCA Club Race entrants are required to have a current PCA Club Racing License (or approved New License Application), current Medical Forms (on-file in the PCA Club Racing Office), and a current PCA Membership. (New License Applications must be received by the Club Racing Program Coordinator three weeks prior to the event.)

All Rookie Candidates and First Time Provisionals for whom this will be their first PCA Club Race MUST attend the Orientation Meeting. Others may be required to attend by invitation. Participants will be notified and information regarding time, place, and date may be obtained from the event registrar.

I agree to abide by the PCA Club Racing Rules and the supplementary regulations of this event.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers of this event and their agents, with respect to the condition and preparation of my registered car, or any subsequent failure or damage to my registered car or its occupants as a result of such failures. 

I acknowledge that at all times I remain solely responsible for the safety and roadworthiness of my registered car. 

My at-track registration signifies that my registered car information is complete and accurate. Incorrect information may cause me to be black-flagged from the track.

My at-track registration signifies that I agree to be in compliance with the Circuit of the Americas Rules and Regulations of the Racetrack and that I am responsible for the compliance of my guests and crew. (see Event web site - “Track Rules”).

My at-track registration signifies I understand that I am required to reimburse Hill Country Region for any fees or physical damage to the track or its facilities caused by myself, my crew and guests and that these are not covered in my registration fee. (see Event Web site – “Track Rules”).

I agree to the following parking policy: Each garage will have a single allotted space for their support vehicle/trailer in the area across the fire lane from the garages. This holds true for multiple cars/teams sharing a garage. One garage = one support vehicle/trailer. Haulers may not necessarily be parked directly in back of each garage due to facility structures in this area; we will endeavor to park the hauler as closely as possible across from each garage for easy access. No awnings or other side structures beside or off the haulers will be permitted for those with garages (as we expect all garage-users to place all their support equipment in either the garages or within their hauler). Once the garages have been parked, we will allow other users of those garages to enter the Paddock near the Garages to unload their cars and equipment. After unloading, these cars and trailers must be removed from the Paddock and taken to Lot A. Vehicles must not be started and/or run in the garages. Age and attire rules are in effect in this area and the rules will be enforced. These are safety considerations, and no exceptions can be made. There shall be no egress to pit road via the south-facing garage doors. These doors may be required to remain closed at all times if violations occur. No fueling of cars inside permanent garage buildings will be allowed. There is a space in front of each garage separate from the fire lane where vehicles can be pushed out to be run and refueled. No fuel storage in the garages. If you have want to garage with particular folks or have special parking needs for your support vehicle please contact Tim Strehl jtstrehl@gmail.com 713-715-8025 as soon as possible after registration opens to make special arrangements.

Garage slots fees should be paid as soon as possible as we prioritize based on paid date. Garages will be divided into 4 slots at $375/ea and each driver can purchase up to 4 slots for $1500, if they want an entire garage to themselves. The weekend before the event an email will be sent out to everyone that has been assigned a garage asking for their preference on who they want to be garaged with or near and that information will be used for the final assignment. Sometimes it is not possible to meet all the preferences, but we are normally able to meet the majority of them.
