Description *** RESCHEDULED FOR AUG. 19 AND 20 ***

This is a two-day driving tour with an overnight stop at Deerhurst Resort, to be booked separately by participants, designed to give club members an extended taste of some of the best asphalt of Muskoka‚Äôs back country, twisting and turning around various lakes and other waterways, rugged rock and mature forest. The tour starts at 9:30 a.m. on Friday and includes a visit to the Kirkfield Lift Lock and Big Chute Marine Railway, two of the engineering marvels of the Trent Severn Waterway. COVID-19 restrictions permitting, a special dinner event is planned for the first evening. The second day we enjoy more of the amazing roads, including the road last year voted by some members as the best in Ontario, winding up in Gravenhurst mid-afternoon at a micro-brewery. Note we have arranged a block of rooms, which participants will need to book by May 23. To allow for better planning by participants and for the booking of the hotel, registration opens earlier than usual, on May 1.

Refund Policy A full refund will be issued if a registration is cancelled prior to one week before the event, so if cancelled by Thursday, Aug.  12, 2021.  If a registration is cancelled past this date, PCA UCR will still do its best to refund the amount, if the vacant spot can be filled from a possible wait list; if not, no refund will be issued. 
Indemnity Policy RELEASE AND INDEMNITY: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers of this event and their agents, with respect to any claims or actions for damages for personal injuries, death or otherwise arising out of my participation in this event.  I acknowledge that at all times I remain solely responsible for my personal safety and the safety of my car.  I also certify that I have no physical or mental problems which could jeopardize me or others if I participate in this event.  I will not use any controlled substances prior to or during the course of the event, unless prescribed by my physician, and acknowledge that I may be excluded from this event for a violation of this pledge.  I agree to abide by the PCA Club Rules and regulations of this event.  I also agree that pictures taken at this event by the UCR/PCA Photographer, or by any of the event organizers or participants may be published in PCA magazines, websites and used to promote future club events.
