“Flamingle” is the Theme of the 1st Annual Fundraiser for the LHR Social Committee. It’s a luncheon and includes yummy Grilled Chicken, Grilled Shrimp, salads, soup, and an array of toppings all buffet style plus a fabulous ice cream bar. Price is $45.00. Mini cash bar available. Register at https://www.longhornpca.org/. Seating is limited; don’t delay! It’s also a fun Fashion Show with our own volunteer models from the Longhorn PCA! Want to volunteer? All sizes needed and encouraged! The fundraiser will benefit the SJRC. “SJRC Texas, formerly known as St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, cares for children and families who have been affected by trauma, abuse and neglect and have been removed from their homes by the Department of Family and Protective Services. We are a safe haven and offer help and hope to begin the journey of healing. Our Mission is”: at https://sjrctexas.org/how-you-can-help and check out their wish lists. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event for some great prizes; cash or check only and all proceeds go to SJRC. If you can’t attend, you can still donate! Checks or wish list items can be brought to the luncheon or any of the events and meetings prior to June 11 and given to Shelley Matthews or Donna Clement. This is going to be a fun mix and mingle event and a great opportunity to meet other new members! Help set the mood and wear your favorite festive pink outfit. All members and guests are welcome, but seating is limited so be sure to sign up ASAP! There is also a drive scheduled the same day and time, starting and ending at the River Crossing Golf Club.
