Description	Carolinas Challenge Club Race October 20-22, 2023 Carolina Motorsports Park Kershaw, SC PCA Carolinas Region is excited to be hosting our traditional fall Club Race and hope you will come join us for some great racing, good ole southern food and hospitality, and unforgettable memories.  The 2023 “Carolinas Challenge” Club Race will be held on October 20-22 at Carolina Motorsports Park.  Our challenging 2.3-mile road course is located in Kershaw, SC about one hour south of Charlotte, NC and 25 minutes west of historic Camden, SC. HIGHLIGHTS - Vintage Run Group - Two Sprint Races (3 for Vintage) - Sunday 65-minute Enduro ON TRACK SCHEDULE - Friday: Practice Sessions, Qualifying, Vintage Sprint Race 1 - Saturday: Sprint Races (2 for each race group) - Sunday: Enduro Race OTHER FUN STUFF - Thursday Night Track Walk&Talk! - Friday Night Social presented by NaroEscape Motorsports. Friday night happy hour hosted by NaroEscape Motorsports.  Everyone, drivers, teams and family are welcome to hang out.  Soft drinks, beer and snacks provided. - Saturday twilight Pit Crew Challenge (not a PCA event). The Pit Crew Challenge is a friendly driving competition taking place Saturday night at the go-kart track for pit crew members and support personnel only (no race car drivers). This NON-PCA event is organized by CMP track personnel. Interested participants should arrive at the go-kart track after the race track has gone cold. A series of heat races will take place (best lap times advance) followed by a final race to determine podium places. Prizes will be awarded for first through third place. - Saturday Night Driver Celebration with Southern BBQ, Southern Rock and Driver Awards! SATURDAY Night Celebration at the Trackside Grill.  Each driver will have two meal tickets.  Let us know if you want to purchase more.  Letting us know in advance will help us prepare enough food. - Charity Laps on Saturday and Sunday! Rookie and Provisional License Candidates who complete the PCA Club Racing School and race at this event will have their 2024 License Renewal fee waived. Some restrictions apply - please contact the PCA Club Racing National Office 847.272.7764. The points races at this Club Race will earn points towards the 2023 PCA Club Racing National Championship Points Series. Optional Racer Test and Tune at CMP (NOT a PCA Event) -- THURSDAY October 19, 2023.  Turn One Racer Test and Tune Days provide the opportunity for racers with a competition license and qualifying vehicle to test & tune on Carolina Motorsports Park’s newly repaved road course. This program is intended for racers needing additional “seat time” or for race teams seeking additional testing time. Racer Test and Tune Days compliment Turn One’s more “street oriented” Turn One Track Days.  Lots of track time! Agreement	I understand that my registration for this Club Race will not be confirmed until payment is received and I have submitted all required paperwork and requested information which may include (but is not limited to) on-line waivers, log book information, guest information, and team information. Any 'special circumstances' regarding fee payment should be brought to the attention of the event registrar immediately. All PCA Club Race registrants are required to sign, as part of this registration, the PCA Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement for the Club Race portion of the weekend. (The PCA Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement must also be signed for the Club Pace portion of the weekend.) I understand that I and all of my guests and crew may be required to sign waivers at the track gate in order to receive the track/general event wristbands and gain admittance to the track property. These wristbands must be worn at all times while on track property. Minor waivers are required for all attendees who are minors (anyone under the age of 18). Please review the event file: Minor Waivers 2023. All PCA Club Race registrants are then required to complete at-track registration to receive Run Group wristbands.  This event is held under the current PCA Club Racing Rules. I agree to abide by the PCA Club Racing Rules and the supplementary regulations of this event. All PCA Club Race registrants are required to have a current PCA Club Racing License (or approved New License Application), current Medical Forms (on-file in the PCA Club Racing Office), and a current PCA Membership. (New License Applications must be received by the Club Racing Program Coordinator three weeks prior to the event.) I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers of this event and their agents, with respect to the condition and preparation of my registered car, or any subsequent failure or damage to my registered car or its occupants as a result of such failures.  I acknowledge that at all times I remain solely responsible for the safety and roadworthiness of my registered car.  My at-track registration signifies that my registered car information is complete and accurate and that my car has a current valid Club Racing log book. Incorrect information may cause me to be black-flagged from the track. All Rookie Candidates and First Time Provisionals for whom this will be their first PCA Club Race MUST attend the Orientation Meeting. Others may be required to attend by invitation. Participants will be notified with and information regarding time, place, and date. I understand that I am required to reimburse the PCA Carolinas Region and/or the Carolinas Motorsports Park for any fees or physical damage to the track or its facilities caused by myself, my crew, and my guests and that these are not covered in my registration fee. Payment is due upon invoice. The points races at this Club Race will earn points towards the 2023 PCA Club Racing National Championship Points Series. REFUND POLICY All cancelations MUST be received in writing by the registrar. All registrations not paid in full by October 09, 2023 will be moved to the waitlist and the hold on the car number will be released.  Cancellations made by October 09, 2023 will receive a full refund, less a $50 filing fee.  Cancellations made after October 11th will receive no refund.
