The Regions of Zone 1 will again host the annual "Clash at the Glen" Club Race at Watkins Glen International on June 16 – 18, 2023 No sound restrictions at this event. 4th event in the Clubsport Series 2nd event in the Triple Trofeo Series Friday - practice sessions and qualifying Saturday - 2 Sprint Races for each Run Group. Sunday - 65 minute Enduro for each Run Group** **After the morning warm-up sessions, we will have 3 - 65 minute Enduro races that will run back-to-back through the normal Watkins Glen lunch hour. This will allow for maximum participation with a refueling option. The change also makes for an earlier finish and the ability to get home at a more reasonable time. Tentatively the last Enduro race will end at 12:45 PM with the Pirelli Awards ceremony at 1:00 PM All participating drivers will receive an Event Jacket. There will be absolutely no new registrations at the track! Early Registration and hotel reservations are recommended. Garages available for rental via your registration - first-come, first served basis. The points races at this Club Race will earn points towards the 2023 ClubSport Series, the 2023 Triple Trofeo Series, as well as the 2023 PCA National Championship Points Series. I understand that my registration for this Club Race will not be confirmed until payment is received and I have submitted all required paperwork and requested information which may include (but is not limited to) on-line waivers, log book information, guest information, and team information. Any 'special circumstances' regarding fee payment should be brought to the attention of the event registrar immediately. All PCA Club Race registrants are required to sign, as part of this registration, the PCA Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement for the Club Race portion of the weekend. (The PCA Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement must also be signed for the Club Pace portion of the weekend.) I understand that I and all of my guests and crew may be required to sign waivers at the track gate in order to receive the track/general event wristbands and gain admittance to the track property. These wristbands must be worn at all times while on track property. Minor waivers are required for all attendees who are minors (anyone under the age of 18). Please review the event file: Minor Waivers 2023. I understand that my registration for this Racers and Coaches ONLY Lapping Sessions will not be approved or confirmed until payment is received and I have submitted all required paperwork and requested information which may include (but is not limited to) on-line waivers, log book information, guest information, and team information. All Racers and Coaches ONLY Lapping Sessions registrants are required to sign, as part of this registration, the PCA Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement for the Club Race portion of the weekend. (The PCA Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement must also be signed for the Club Pace portion of the weekend.) All PCA Club Race registrants are then required to complete at-track registration to receive Run Group wristbands. This event is held under the current PCA Club Racing Rules. I agree to abide by the PCA Club Racing Rules and the supplementary regulations of this event. All PCA Club Race registrants are required to have a current PCA Club Racing License (or approved New License Application), current Medical Forms (on-file in the PCA Club Racing Office), and a current PCA Membership. (New License Applications must be received by the Club Racing Program Coordinator three weeks prior to the event.) I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers of this event and their agents, with respect to the condition and preparation of my registered car, or any subsequent failure or damage to my registered car or its occupants as a result of such failures. I acknowledge that at all times I remain solely responsible for the safety and roadworthiness of my registered car. My at-track registration signifies that my registered car information is complete and accurate and that my car has a current valid Club Racing log book. Incorrect information may cause me to be black-flagged from the track. All Rookie Candidates and First Time Provisionals for whom this will be their first PCA Club Race MUST attend the Orientation Meeting. Others may be required to attend by invitation. Participants will be notified with information regarding time, place, and date. I agree that I am required to reimburse PCA Zone 1 and/or Watkins Glen International for any fees or physical damage to the track or its facilities caused by myself, my crew, and my guests and that these are not covered in my registration fee. Payment is due upon invoice. The points races at this Club Race will earn points towards the 2023 PCA Club Racing National Championship Points Series. The points races at this Club Race will earn points towards the the 2023 Triple Trofeo Series, the 2023 ClubSport Series, as well as the 2023 PCA National Championship Series. At track registrations may incur additional service fees. 2023 Clash at the Glen Club Race Refund Policy: Registration closes on Sunday, June 11, 2023. All race entry and garage registrations will remain pending until fully paid. Refunds for cancellations prior to the closing date will be returned to your original method of payment, less processing fees. After 6/11/23 refunds will not be issued, and any unpaid registrations will be cancelled. Please plan accordingly and contact the Registrar if you have any questions. |
