| Description |
Two day Driver's Education on the NOLA Motorsports Park 2.75 mile track configuration with the "esses". Open to all makes of automobiles and drivers of all abilities. Instructors will be available for non-solo drivers. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age. Cars must have fixed fenders. You may register for 1 or 2 days. See Event Fees. Run groups may fill up and priority will be given to the 2-day entrants. The Kart Cafe', operated by Copeland's of New Orleans, will open for lunch purchase each day. If you need a rental helmet go to the Event Options page. Parade Laps – We will be doing parade laps of the 2.75 mile circuit during lunch on Saturday and Sunday. $20 per car each day. You will take about 5 laps behind a pace car at normal highway speeds. Passengers are allowed. See Event Options. Be sure to keep your personal info up to date, especially your cell number, email address, and emergency contact info. Go to the Main Menu Tab and select Edit Profile. Also, when choosing a car number, please check the roster first to see if your number is already taken. Cancellation Policy: Our standard policy is to give you a full credit for a future Whiskey Bay event with 10 days notice. If you cancel within 10 days or you are a no show, no credit. At any time prior to the start of a race day, the event organizer may deem the track un-drivable due to severe inclement weather. If this happens, a credit towards a future event will be issued for each day of cancellation. Once cars are on the track for the first session, there will be no cancellation. Any updates to this policy will be given 30 days prior to events. Camping - You may reserve an RV space which has 50-amp power. (You will need an adapter if your rig is 30 amp.) | Refund Policy | $25 cancellation fee if notified by email 2 weeks prior to the event. Within 2 weeks, no refund however fees will be credited to any future Whiskey Bay Region event. Within 7 days, there is no refund or credit for cancellations or for no shows. |
| Indemnity Policy | RELEASE AND INDEMNITY: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers of this event and their agents, with respect to any claims or actions for damages for personal injuries, death or otherwise arising out of my participation in this event. I acknowledge that at all times I remain solely responsible for my personal safety and the safety and race-worthiness of my car. I also certify that I have no physical or mental problems which could jeopardize me or others if I participate in this event. I will not use any controlled substances prior to or during the course of the event, unless prescribed by my physician, and acknowledge that I may be excluded from this event for a violation of this pledge. If my car causes damage to any track facility, I agree to reimburse NOLA Motorsports Park for the costs thereof and to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers of this event with respect thereto.
