Description .
Suncoast PCA’s annual 3-day “Instructor and Driver Development Weekend” and awards dinner in the Gallery of Legends, sponsored by Porsche Clearwater .

Friday November 22 and Saturday November 23: Instructor training and driver development for advanced drivers. Open to any solo qualified drivers and PCA Instructors. 

In addition to a lot of track time, there will be additional advanced training, classrooms sessions, and a track walk each morning narrated by Ross Bentley. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more than in a typical DE weekend, meet Ross and learn the track from a different perspective.

We will also host our MSF Level II instructor training program on Friday and Saturday. Please contact our CTI, Brad Beckett, if you are interested in this program: CTI@SuncoastPCA.org.

Sunday November 23: Regular DE for all student groups, solos and instructors. Our student groups will fill up quickly for this event so register and pay ASAP to confirm your spot.

Anyone registered to participate on Sunday will also get a free event T-Shirt – our 2025 version!

Join us for dinner Saturday evening. Open to all registered drivers, including students. We will enjoy a catered sit-down dinner, followed by presentation of awards, introduction of the new instructors, raffles and book signing with Ross Bentley. Our sponsor for the dinner this year is Porsche Clearwater. Make sure you register for the dinner option! Capacity is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance.

TWO IMPORTANT NOTES:

- The event opens for registration on Tuesday October 22 at 9:00 am central time and closes on Thursday November 14 at 11:59 pm central time. Please note that registrations after the event closes will incur a $75 late registration fee so, please register and pay before the event closes to avoid this fee. 

- If you have not driven with us since May of 2023 please note that our tech procedure has changed; all drivers, including instructors, must now use an approved shop for their tech inspection. See section “DE TECH INSPECTION” below for full details.

TWO NEW SAFETY POLICIES EFFECTIVE JULY 10, 2024 RELATING TO CONVERTIBLES AND EV CARS:

If you are considering driving with either a convertible or an EV, please contact our DE Tech at DETech@SuncoastPCA.org prior to registering for an event to get the specifics of these policies. The documents can also be downloaded from ClubReg once you are logged into your ClubReg account.

DE REGISTRATION:

All registrants must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license.

We use an e-waiver - this must be SIGNED and VERIFIED.

PCA membership is not required but membership does have some advantages. If your PCA membership number is in your ClubReg account profile, it can be automatically verified during the registration process. You do not have to be a member specifically of Suncoast PCA, all PCA members receive the same benefits at our DE events.

All drivers require a helmet rated SA2015 or SA2020. Moped helmets and motorcycle helmets are not allowed, and there are no loaner helmets available.

We run rain or shine so please prepare accordingly!

DE CONFIRMATION:

You will be confirmed when the required questions / registration information is complete, your appropriate payment is received, and your e-waiver is signed AND VERIFIED.

You are not officially in the event until you have received a confirmation email.

Car numbers and pit stalls are allocated on a "first registered and paid, first allocation" basis.

DE TECH INSPECTION:

All drivers must have a technical inspection performed on their car within 30 days of the event, at an approved shop. The "Tech Form" and the "Approved Shop List" can be downloaded from within your ClubReg account. They will also be attached to your confirmation email.

DE CANCELLATION and REFUND/CREDIT:

All cancellations must be made in your ClubReg account. An email, text or phone call to the DE Registrar, or another driver, or your instructor, is not an acceptable method of cancellation.

Cancellations up to 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund (less any ClubRegistration processing fees).

Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the event will receive a credit or refund (less any ClubRegistration processing fees) at the discretion of Suncoast PCA if we cannot fill your spot.

From 9 days prior to the event, NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be issued. No exceptions – including for cars not passing the technical inspection. Plan and schedule your tech inspection appointment accordingly to ensure any required repairs or pads/tires replacements can be made before the deadline of Tuesday November 12, 2024 at 5pm EST.

Charitable donations are NEVER refunded.

We do not offer refunds, credit or partial credit for mechanical issues that prevent your car from going out on the track.

Refund Policy Suncoast PCA Drivers Education Refund Policy and Track Damage Statement:

All cancellations must be done in your ClubReg account.  An email, text or phone call to the DE Registrar or another driver or your instructor is not acceptable. 

Cancellations up to 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund (less any ClubRegistration processing fees) or be credited for use during 2024. 

Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the event will receive a credit or refund (less any ClubRegistration processing fees) at the discretion of Suncoast PCA if we cannot fill your spot.

Track damage:If you have an incident on track or anywhere on Sebring property and Sebring bills Suncoast PCA for those costs, Suncoast PCA will invoice you for those costs.
