Driver's Education at LRP - Saturday August 3, 2024. All rungroups - instructed, solo, instructors. Porsches only. No Cayennes or Macans. PCA Membership required. CVR Members have priority on acceptance. You may not share a car in the same run group. You may share if the drivers are in different run groups and both pay the regular driver fee. Gates Open at 6:30 a.m. Registration and Tech Line open at 7:15 a.m. Driver's Meeting and Instructor Meeting at 8:15 a.m. First cars on the track at 9:00 a.m. This is NOT a timed event. 88 db noise limit. Helmets must be SA2015 or newer. Students must bring their own headset. Completed Tech Form required. No refunds given for cancellations less than two weeks before the event. A Tech Inspection of your car by an approved shop is required. See https://cvrpca.com/driver-education/ for information on our events. PORSCHES AT THE ROCK: Besides our DE event, there will also be an AutoX in B Paddock and a Porsche Cars & Coffee gathering and Porsche-themed swap meet at the Midway, along with sponsor displays and food trucks, with food for purchase. |
| Refund Policy |
2024 CVR DE Cancellation and Refund Policy - Advanced notification by e-mail (deregistrar@cvrpca. org) to the Registrar is required for all cancellations. If notification is not provided, scheduled attendance to the next DE event will be forfeited. A $40. 00 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund. Refunds and/or credit towards another DE event will be not granted for cancellations that are received by the Registrar less than two weeks prior to the event. Cancelling on ClubRegistration. net does not qualify as a notice to the DE Registrar. Refunds and/or credit towards another DE event will be not granted for a stopped event once a car has been on the track. Consideration for a refund and/or credit toward another DE event will be not granted for "no-shows" unless the event was canceled by the track or CVR prior to the day of the event. Any fees incurred by CVR due to PayPal chargebacks are payable by the driver that incurred the fee. For an event cancelled by CVR or the track, refunds and/or credit toward another DE event may be granted, at the Board of Directors' discretion, when an event is not started or the event is canceled either by the track or CVR prior to the start of the event. This only applies to those who show up at the event. Connecticut Valley Region Porsche Club Race Payment / Cancellation / Refund Policy for Club Race Participants Payment in full must be received by the Race Registrar for applicants to be PCA approved, confirmed for the event, and assigned to a race group. In the event a registrant must cancel out of the event, consideration for refund will be given according to the following guidelines: 1) If notice of cancellation is received at least 30 days before the race date (by March 20, 2024), registrants will be eligible for a full refund minus a $50 processing fee. 2) Racers who provide cancellation notice between March 20th and April 10 will be eligible for a 50% refund minus the $50 processing fee. NOTE: If the race is over-sold, and the cancelling racer’s spot on the roster is filled from a Wait List, then a full refund will be issued minus the $50 processing fee. 3) Refunds may not be given if cancellation notice is received after the close of race registration. To be considered for a refund, cancellation notification must be made via email to the CVR Race Registrar (race. registrar@cvrpca. org). The date of the email will determine the timing of the cancellation and the refund amount. Any applicant whose license application is not approved by the National Club Racing Coordinator will be entitled to a full refund regardless of the timing of such notification minus a $50 processing fee. All refunds will be issued within 30 days after the event (by May 31, 2024). Refunds will be made either as a PayPal payment reversal or by check issued by the Connecticut Valley Region Treasurer. *This cancellation/refund policy applies to Club Race fees only. Drivers registered for the Advanced DE held in conjunction with the Club Race and all drivers registered for the Thursday Advanced DE should refer to the CVR Drivers’ Education policies regarding cancellation and credits. Drivers’ Ed and Club Race are two separate events with independent registration, payment, and cancellation processes. |
| Indemnity Policy |
I certify that I have no known physical or mental problems or conditions which prevent me from safely operating a motor vehicle or which may jeopardize others or myself if I participate in Club Race and/or Driver Education events. I agree that at all times during this Club Race and/or Driver Education event that I shall remain solely responsible for the safety and road-worthiness of my car and that I am solely responsible for any damages sustained by my car while participating in the event, regardless of cause or fault. If my car damages any track facilities, not limited to but including guardrails and fluid clean-ups, I will pay for such damages directly to the track or reimburse CVR-PCA for those expenses as necessary. Email addresses used on ClubRegistration. net will not be shared, sold or distributed. Porsche Club of America is a private, not-for-profit organization. It reserves the right to deny the acceptance of any Club Race or Driver Education application, or to revoke any application previously accepted, for any reason or no reason, except that it will not deny or revoke a Club Race or Driver Education application solely on the basis of race, creed, color, sex or national origin. |
