See note below on hybrid and electric vehicles. ***PCA MEMBERS: BE SURE MEMBERSHIP NUMBER IS CORRECTLY ENTERED IN YOUR CLUB REGISTRATION PROFILE in MY ACCOUNT EDIT MY MEMBERSHIPS*** October 8, 2024 Metro NY PCA at LIME ROCK - UNMUFFLED. SOLO DRIVERS ONLY: White/Black/Red; Blue with approval. Let's Make Some More Noise SPACE IS VERY LIMITED FOR THIS EVENT - REGISTER EARLY! PLEASE register early. A late registration fee of $50.00 will be applied to payments made within 14 days of the DE. We will be on track from 1PM-5PM. There will be only TWO run groups at this event: Fast and Faster. Both groups have a scheduled 2 hours of track time. You must still register based on your skill/experience run group as at other DEs. (Blue/White/Black/Red). There will be NO INSTRUCTION at this event, although coaching may be available by prior arrangement through the DE Registrar. Metro NY PCA has sole use of the track after 1PM on 10/08/2023. No “race” engines to be started until after 11AM. Some proceeds from this event will go to PCA Metro NY's 2024 Charity: Malcolm Pray Achievement Center, helping young people drive towards success YOU HAVE NOT REGISTERED UNTIL YOU HAVE PAID IN FULL, SIGNED AND VERIFIED THE ONLINE WAIVER, AND RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION E-MAIL. RUN GROUPS & REGISTRATION… Solo Groups: Blue Group: Beginning Solo Driver WITH APPROVAL White Group: Intermediate Solo Driver Black Group: Advanced Solo Driver Red Group: Instructor Qualified PLEASE contact us BEFORE registering if you are unsure of your Run Group. **IF YOU HAVE NOT INSTRUCTED WITH US BEFORE, PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE REGISTERING AS AN INSTRUCTOR!** PLEASE CHECK THE EVENT ROSTER TO SEE YOUR STATUS. ALL drivers will pay solo registration fees at this DE. Instructors who perform coaching duties because of a request by the CI will have the difference between Solo and Instructor fees refunded to them following the event. IF YOUR RUN GROUP IS FULL, PLEASE REGISTER ANYWAY AND CONTACT THE REGISTRAR. Payment must be received within 5 days of registration to hold your spot (or 7 days prior to event; whichever comes first). You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your registration. If you have not received notification one week prior to the event, please contact the event chair or registrar (metronypcade@gmail.com). Registration cannot be completed if payment is not received. Registration Closes on 10/05. NO REFUNDS AFTER 09/24. Driver is responsible for any/all track damage they may cause. Only registered drivers are permitted on the track. No passengers except for approved and registered event instructors. A driver is permitted on the track only during his/her assigned run group. Roster spots WILL NOT be held without payment. All drivers must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license. Only registered drivers and non-driving instructors will be allowed on track. When more than one person is in a car on track, at least one must be a registered instructor at the event. SAFETY… Pre-event tech inspection must be completed by a PCA Region approved tech site within 30 days of event using the current Metro NY PCA Tech Form. It is mandatory for all Boxsters, Cabriolets, Roadsters and Speedsters to have roll bars that meet minimum height requirements. **LIME ROCK PARK REQUIRES ROLLOVER PROTECTION TO BE DEPLOYED WHEN ON TRACK** Open cars must be equipped with a roll bar meeting the following specifications: (i) the roll bar must be of sufficient height to ensure that the top of the driver’s helmet sits below the line from the top of the roll bar to the top of the windshield (commonly referred to as the “broomstick test”) and; (ii) the roll bar must be fixed and visible at all times when the vehicle is on the track. Snell 2015 or newer helmets are required. If your car has aftermarket 5 or 6 Point Harnesses, the webbing must not have an expired date on the manufacturer tag. Most webbing expires after 5 years from date of production. If you are running a 5 or 6 point harness, you are now REQUIRED to use a head and neck restraint device that meets the standards of either SFI 38.1 or FIA 8858. PLEASE DO NOT register with a hybrid or electric vehicle until you have contacted the Registrar and been approved to participate with that vehicle. Significant safety concerns with electric vehicles mean some tracks and track organizations have banned them outright. We cannot provide full refunds to those who register with electric vehicles without first gaining approval from the registrar. Metro NY PCA sponsors this event as a driver’s education. It is not a race or a race school. We encourage all participants to enjoy the experience and bring a mature, cooperative, and not overly aggressive attitude to the event. Participants engaging in inappropriate actions are subject to having their registration canceled, at the sole discretion of Metro NY PCA. |

METRO NY REGION DE EVENT CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY 1. All refunds are subject to a processing fee of 5% unless due to Club cancellation of event. 2. Refunds will be issued for cancellations made fifteen (15) or more days prior to the DE event date. Credits may be issued in lieu, with registrant’s agreement. 3. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made fourteen (14) or fewer days prior to the DE event date. 4. Please cancel through Club Registration and with a follow up e-mail to metronypcade@gmail. com to ensure cancellation is timely. IF any credit towards a future Metro NY DE is issued, said credit will expire NO LATER THAN the end of the following season. |

I certify that I am 18 years of age or older, possess a valid driving license, and have no known physical or mental problems or conditions which prevent me from safely operating a motor vehicle or which may jeopardize others or myself if I participate in Club Race and/or Driver Education events. I agree that at all times during this Club Race and/or Driver Education event that I shall remain solely responsible for the safety and road-worthiness of my car and that I am solely responsible for any damages sustained by my car while participating in the event, regardless of cause or fault. If my car damages any track facilities, not limited to but including guardrails and fluid clean-ups, I will pay for such damages directly to the track or reimburse Metro NY PCA for those expenses as necessary. Email addresses used on ClubRegistration. net will not be shared, sold or distributed. Porsche Club of America is a private, not-for-profit organization. It reserves the right to deny the acceptance of any Club Race or Driver Education application, or to revoke any application previously accepted, for any reason or no reason, except that it will not deny or revoke a Club Race or Driver Education application solely on the basis of race, creed, color, sex or national origin. |
