| Description |
Open lapping day at Barber Motorsports Park. Format is limited to 50 cars and features open track from 9AM-5PM with a 1 hour lunch break. Driver Requirements Drivers must be 16 or older and hold a current driver's license. Under 19 requires an accompanying parent or guardian. Drivers must have prior track day experience or prior race experience. Driver must have an SA2015 or SA2020 helmet. A HANS type device is highly recommended and required for cars with harnesses instead of factory seat belts. Race suit highly recommended for drivers of race prepared cars. Car Requirements All cars must have completed tech inspection form. Convertibles must have NASA/SCCA approved rollbar or cage. Formula cars are not allowed however sports racers are allowed. Event Rules Passing is allowed anywhere on track. Passing is point-by preferred but not required. No drifting. No dive-bombing into a braking zone or corner. No passengers except for approved driving coaches - email higherperformancedriving@gmail.com for approval. Failure to comply with flagging will result in ejection with no refund. Repeated off track excursions will result in ejection with no refund. |

All refunds will be minus the 5% processing fee. No refunds or credits within 14 days of the event. |
| Indemnity Policy | This is a high speed open track event held at a private racing facility. While the overriding consideration during the operation of the event is safety, incidents may occur that could cause vehicle damage and/or personal injury. You will be driving with other participants whose vehicles may be uninsured and/or unregistered. You are fully responsible for the safe operation and safe mechanical condition of your vehicle. Higher Performance Driving, LLC, its officers, staff and facility providers assume no responsibility in the event of an accident, of any kind, in the course of this event. The undersigned assumes all risks and hazards incidental to participating in this high speed open track event, whether foreseen or unforeseen, and does hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless Higher Performance Driving, LLC, its officers, staff and facility for any claim of any kind for damage or injury to his/herself, his/her personal property, including his/her vehicle, or damage to any other person, personal property or vehicle. By participating in this event, you assume all risk and liability of damage to the facility. This includes but is not limited to damage to the track surface due to spilled fluids, damage to guard rail, and damage to tire barriers. If you have an incident that results in track damage you will be responsible for the costs of repair payable immediately to the track. Your registration is your acknowledgment of the above and agreement to attend under these conditions. |
