| Description |
PCA UCR’s 2025 Ski Day is on Thursday, February 13 at Alpine Ski Club, an award-winning premium private ski and snowboard club in the Blue Mountains, situated on a total of 384 acres of unique terrain, featuring 760 feet of elevation, 37 runs and 5 lifts, with majestic views of Georgian Bay, modern amenities and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Alpine Ski Club is just west of the town of Collingwood, about a two-hour drive from Toronto. UCR’s Ski Day includes discounted lift tickets for the use of Alpine’s ski and snowboard terrain, snowshoe trails and private clubhouse; complimentary group beginner/intermediate ski & snowboard lessons; fun races suitable for all ages/abilities; and a private après ski social featuring many great prizes and delicious food prepared by an award-winning caterer. Alcoholic drinks can be purchased separately. Lunch can be purchased on site – there are numerous options to choose from – or you can bring your own picnic lunch if you prefer. Reserved seating for our group. There are over 40 prizes valued at over $2,500 for our group – for racers and as draw prizes. All-in cost is $120pp for adults, $102pp for students*, $71pp for children, and $60 for non-skiers/non-snowboarders who can snowshoe on Alpine’s extensive trail system and use the clubhouse. All-in cost for Alpine members/reciprocal club* exchange tickets is $42pp. (*ID required). Lifts open from 9am-3:30pm. Après ski social from 3-4:30pm. Family & friends welcome. Register up to 8 people via this site. Equipment rentals are available onsite for an added cost. | Refund Policy | UCR has a one week no cancellation/no refund policy. For any cancellations within the last week before the event, no refund will be issued. |
| Indemnity Policy | RELEASE AND INDEMNITY: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers of this event and their agents, with respect to any claims or actions for damages for personal injuries, death or otherwise arising out of my participation in this event. I acknowledge that at all times I remain solely responsible for my personal safety. I also certify that I have no physical or mental problems which could jeopardize me or others if I participate in this event. I will not use any controlled substances prior to or during the course of the event, unless prescribed by my physician, and acknowledge that I may be excluded from this event for a violation of this pledge. I agree to abide by the PCA Club Rules and regulations of this event. I also agree that pictures taken at this event by the UCR/PCA Photographer, or by any of the event organizers or participants may be published in PCA magazines, websites and used to promote future club events. |
