Description |
****Continued for 2025 - Shirts are optional for an additional cost of $10 during registration. T-Shirt payments within 30 days of the event may be refunded pending quantities available. Two Day Driver Education event at Watkins Glen International. All automotive marques are welcome, not limited to Porsche. This is a fun, relaxed DE event with a strong emphasis on safety and new driver development. Classroom instruction reinforces driving concepts learned on the track. Come join the Niagara Region at Watkins Glen. IMPORTANT: Your registration is not complete until payment is received and a confirmation email is sent by the registrar. Registering without paying DOES NOT hold your place. Notes - Helmets must be SA or SAH 2015, 2020 or 2025 No Motorcycle (MA Designation) or any helmet older will be allowed. Solo run group designations for all solo drivers / instructors. Please denote which group you would prefer to join as a solo driver. Stock / Solo - Street tires, stock occupant restraints, mild modifications, was "Low Horsepower" run group previously etc. Track Prep / Solo + - R-comp tires, Race seats / harnesses, roll bar / cage, Hans or similar restraint, was "High Horsepower" run group previously etc. Runs groups will be chosen by the registrar based on personal experience or information filled out here. If there are questions please let me know; hinchccb@gmail.com Any intermediate solo driver must have had at least 12 track days and have been soloed twice at this venue with an accredited track day group (PCA, BMWCCA, Trackmasters, etc...) and be able to provide additional information upon request prior to run group placement. |

Refund Policy |
METRO & NIAGARA NY REGION DE EVENT CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: Metro & Niagara NY incurs significant costs in having a High Speed Driving Event. These costs include the track rental, corner workers, etc. These are generally non-refundable costs to Metro & Niagara NY. A. All refunds are subject to a processing fee of $30 unless due to Club cancelation of the event. B. Refunds will be issued for cancellations made fourteen (14) or more days prior to the DE event date. Credits may be issued in lieu, with registrant’s agreement. C. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made thirty (30) or fewer days prior to the DE event date. D. Registrants must cancel through ClubRegistration. net and with a follow up e-mail to hinchccb@gmail. com to ensure cancellation is timely. E. IF any credit towards a future Metro or Niagara NY DE is issued, said credit will expire no later than the end of the following season. F. Garage / T-Shirt Fees are Non-Refundable. |
Indemnity Policy | Participants acknowledge that Metro NY and Niagara Region PCA driving events entail known and unanticipated risks which could result in damage to the participant, to property or to third parties, physical or emotional injury, paralysis or death. The participant understands that such risks simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the driving event. Participation in this event is therefore purely voluntary and the participant expressly agrees to accept and assume all risks and elects to participate in spite of all known and or unknown risks. |
