Description The Coastal Empire Region Spring DE is being held on April 12-13, 2025 at Roebling Road Raceway: www.roeblingroad.com.  Registration opens on January 2, 2025 at 12:00noon EDT.

As always, this event is open to PCA and non PCA members. Our DE events are open to ALL MAKES AND MODELS, including convertibles with the proper roll bar protection.
***Special note about convertibles: Any convertible or cabrio delivered with factory installed roll over protection meets the minimum standards for PCA DE events. In these cars we recommend the soft-top be in the up position or the hard top installed. If the top is in the down position, an arm restraint system (SFI and/or FIA approved) must be used. If a convertible or cabrio does not have factory installed roll over protection, a roll bar or roll cage must be installed, which meets the "broomstick" rule (the driver's helmeted head is below a bar placed on top of the roll bar and windshield). All targa tops must be installed unless there is additional roll over protection. All sunroofs must be in the closed position.
The windshield alone is not considered to be factory roll over protection.
All cars entered in the event must have fenders attached to the vehicle body at all four wheels.
Additional requirements are: (1) drivers MUST be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license to enter, (2) your vehicle has to be safety-checked by an ASE certified mechanic within three weeks of the event and re-checked by our tech team at the track-grid tech. (3) drivers must utilize a Snell Safety Certified SA2015 or SA2020 helmet.

This 2 day driving event is focused on developing high performance driving skills. Instructors will be provided for all students in the Green (novice) and Blue (advanced novice) groups. Our DE events are multi-purpose with a focus on teaching drivers with minimal track experience the fundamentals of high performance driving as well as accommodating those that have advanced skills and want additional track time to hone those skills.
Whether you are interested in trying this type of event for the first time or returning as an avid "track junkie," we have something for all skill levels.
Note that this is NOT A TEST & TUNE NOR RACING event, but a drivers education event. If you desire these type of events, do NOT register.

For those interested in our ONE DAY OPTION, this option is available to GREEN/NOVICE and BLUE NOVICE PARTICIPANTS on Saturday ONLY.

BLUE SOLO, WHITE, BLACK, AND RED GROUP PARTICIPANTS may select this option for either Saturday or Sunday.

REGISTRATION: You must perform these two actions to be confirmed.
1. This event only utilizes Electronic waivers. This is a two part process. First, sign the document and then you will receive a text or email to verify your signature. Your signature is NOT completed until you verify it.
2. Make payment at the time of registration.

Please note NO signature and NO payment = NO registration. First come, first serve.

SOCIAL - in addition to track time your registration includes a pizza/wings/beer/wine/soft drink social on Friday evening as well as a high-quality t-shirt.

HOST HOTEL: The host hotel is the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Savannah Airport, One Jay R. Turner Drive (Exit 104 off of I -95), Savannah, Georgia 31408 USA. The hotel’s phone number is 912 330 5555. Guests can make their reservations by calling the 888-287-9400 and give the hotel code SAVSA, the group name “Coastal Empire PCA”, the date of arrival, and the group code COA.
This is a negotiated rate of $139 a night for April 11 and 12.  The last date to book at this rate is March 28, 2025.

CAMPING: Camping for the weekend is permitted at the track. All campsites are first come, first serve, so please do not contact the track for a spot. All campsites do not have water. Also, there is no dump station at RRR.
Please select the appropriate option and make payment on clubregistration. The fee is $50 for RV’s and $20 for tents for the weekend and covers the cost of nighttime security at the track.
NOTE that upon entrance to the track, RRR will ALSO charge you an additional fee for electric use of $25 for RV’s (30 /50 Amp) and $10 fee for tents (110). This is payable at the gate. When you pay for electric at the gate, you will be given a sticker to be placed on your power cord, indicating that you have paid. RRR staff will be checking for theses stickers and collecting from anyone without one.

MEDICAL: HPDE events will expose participants to mental stress, high acceleration, turning and braking. You will also encounter high temperatures, loud noises, and vibration.
For your safety and the safety of others, you should be in good health and free from untreated high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by participation in this type of event. Contact your physician if you have questions about your participation.

TECH INSPECTIONS: ALL vehicles must pass a tech inspection at an ASE certified technician/shop within a three week period prior to the event. Any reputable ASE certified technician, auto shop, or dealership - preferably one who is familiar with your make or model - should be able to perform a tech inspection on your vehicle.

HARNESSES AND RESTRAINTS: the PCA DE Minimum Standards state that if a driver uses a harness system, he or she will ALSO be required to utilize a head and neck restraint system (HANS device). A head and neck restraint device is an integral part of the harness system.  Because the rule of equal restraint ALWAYS applies, if a driver uses a harness system there MUST also be a harness system available and used by the passenger. Thus, both the driver and passenger will be required to use a HANS device.

TRACK SUPPORT: Apex Performance. Please contact Linda or Clark for all of your track needs prior to the event. www.apexperformance.net or 843-299-0907

RUN SESSIONS: Instructor(red) and black run groups will have longer run sessions so as to minimize tire heat cycles.

GARAGES: there are 15 garages at the track, with rates of $60 for one day and $80 for two days. RRR does take names for these, and has a “list”, but does not collect money until the driver arrives at the track. Please contact RRR at 912-748-4205.

TRACK DAY INSURANCE: Your auto insurance usually does not cover your car on a racetrack. Clubregistration on this site has an offer for track day insurance. Below are additional links to track day insurance carriers:
