| Description |
This event is dedicated to advanced drivers only. An advanced driver is considered to be someone who has completed at least 8 HPDE events. If you are an advanced driver or an existing instructor and wish to hone your instructional skills and become a recognized PCA National HPDE instructor you may participate in the instruction portion of this event. (CDI will approve). Dedicated National and Chicago region mentors will provide the instructor candidates with a full day of instruction including classroom sessions. If you are already a Nationally approved instructor, you can participate as an instructor mentor. Instructor mentors not driving will receive a $100 promo code. Mentors who participate in all classrooms are eligible for MSF Level 2 rating. If a mentor is not interested in level 2 rating, they do not need to participate in all classroom sessions and can drive in any of the open track sessions as their schedule allows. Advanced drivers who do not wish to participate in the instructor school will have will have the opportunity to run in up to ten open track sessions. Combining this event with the next day's track event will provide an abundant amount of track time to kick off the new season. There is a discounted fee for advanced drivers driving both Thursday 4/24/25 and Friday 4/25/25. This event is open to all sport cars that pass tech and to all experienced drivers 18 and older. Please note Cayenne, Macan or other SUV's, Electric Vehicles EV's and open wheeled cars are not allowed at this event. We would like to thank THE PORSCHE EXCHANGE for sponsoring Blackhawk this year. | Indemnity Policy |
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Porsche Club of America-Chicago Region, as well as its directors, officers, employees, agents, advisors, and assigns (collectively, the "Club") from any loss, liability, damage, fees, or cost, including bodily injury or property damage of any sort, that I may incur or cause arising out of or related to my presence at or participation in the Club's events, whether caused by the negligence or fault of the Club, or otherwise. I acknowledge that I remain solely responsible at all times for the safety and roadworthiness of my car, including its condition, preparation, and suitability for the Club's events, as well as my own physical and mental fitness to participate in Club events. By participating in the Club's events, I am assuming all responsibility for risk of damage to or caused by my car, and agree that if I or my car damages or destroys any event facilities or property, I will reimburse the Club for any such expenses incurred, including without limitation, all costs and fees incurred in connection with the clean up, repair, or removal of any damaged property, spilled fluids, discarded tires or other scrap, or fees for late exit from the event facilities. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Club and any supplementary rules or regulations provided in connection with the Club's events or by the event facilities owners or operators. |
