Join us for our third annual Ladies’ Day Driver Education Day. This year we will be driving the South Track at Autobahn Country Club. As usual, we will be providing a lite breakfast, lunch, and an event Driving Shirt in addition to plenty of track time, classroom and in-car instruction, and an all-around great time. Have you ever wanted to try your hand at driving on the track but maybe had some reservations? What were they? - Too much testosterone at those male-dominated events - Don’t own a Porsche - Don’t have the need for speed - Don’t want to or are intimidated to drive partner’s Porsche - Don’t want partner’s judgement or advice about driving Over the years, as we’ve encouraged women to come out and participate, these are the things we’ve heard. Bring your Porsche sports car or non-Porsche sports car (electric and open-wheeled vehicles are not allowed) and experience what it is like to drive on the South track in Joliet, IL. Because of a lack of demand, there will not be a run group for SUVs this year. You must be driving a car. This is an event just for ladies (18 or older with a valid driver's license), run by ladies. Please consider joining us. You never know, you may love it as we all do! Important Details - Taycan or other EV's, or open-wheeled cars are not allowed. - Please note that you must register for yourself. Registrations by a spouse or significant other for their partner will not be accepted. This is due to the waiver requirements for this event. This event also has an online classroom session on Monday, June 3rd, starting at 7:00 PM where you will learn the basics of safely driving on a racetrack and what to expect during the event. If you have never driven on a racetrack, attending this session is highly recommended. Access information for attending the session will be emailed to new drivers in advance of the session. | Indemnity Policy |
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Porsche Club of America-Chicago Region, as well as its directors, officers, employees, agents, advisors, and assigns (collectively, the "Club") from any loss, liability, damage, fees, or cost, including bodily injury or property damage of any sort, that I may incur or cause arising out of or related to my presence at or participation in the Club's events, whether caused by the negligence or fault of the Club, or otherwise. I acknowledge that I remain solely responsible at all times for the safety and roadworthiness of my car, including its condition, preparation, and suitability for the Club's events, as well as my own physical and mental fitness to participate in Club events. By participating in the Club's events, I am assuming all responsibility for risk of damage to or caused by my car, and agree that if I or my car damages or destroys any event facilities or property, I will reimburse the Club for any such expenses incurred, including without limitation, all costs and fees incurred in connection with the clean up, repair, or removal of any damaged property, spilled fluids, discarded tires or other scrap, or fees for late exit from the event facilities. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Club and any supplementary rules or regulations provided in connection with the Club's events or by the event facilities owners or operators. |
