This tour will visit Pirelli Tire Factory in Rome, GA. This is a unique opportunity to see a modern robotics tire manufacturing facility. We will learn about tire technology and see how tires are made. We appreciate the relationship with Pirelli because most tire manufacturers won’t allow visitors inside. We will break up into small groups, and our tour guides will explain everything that happens at this facility. Please note that closed toe shoes are required, and no photography is allowed inside the plant. So, don’t even plan on taking your cell phone or camera inside the building. Sign-in for this tour will begin at 8:30am at Porsche Perimeter 4006 Carver Drive, Atlanta. We will depart no later than 9:00am. Arrive for registration no later than 8:45 am. We will drive some fun roads to Rome where we will have lunch at Bella Roma before continuing to Pirelli for our tour. We have a separate room for our group so we can all socialize together during lunch. During registration you will select items from their menu to pre-order so that they can have the food ready upon our arrival. All meals will include bread and a salad. Don’t forget to order your drink. Please note that prices shown include taxes and gratuities. Registration will be limited to a maximum number due to room size at lunch and due to the number, that can reasonably be guided through the Pirelli facility. DRIVERS EDUCATION EVENTS - I understand that I am required to reimburse Peachstate Region for any fees or physical damage to the track or its facilities caused by myself, my crew and guests and that these are not covered in my registration fee. As a condition of my participation in this Driver's School, I agree that I will be responsible for myself and my vehicle at all times, and I hereby release the Porsche Club of America, Peachstate Region, Inc. and their officers, agents, and officials from any claim, liability, cost or expense arising from my attendance at this school. I further agree that the vehicle used during this event will be operated only by a fully licensed driver over the age of 18, and that the said vehicle will be fully covered by liability and property damage insurance in full force and effect during the school. AUTOCROSS EVENTS - Each person entering the premises of the autocross site must sign a release and waiver of liability. Children must have a responsible parent or guardian sign a release and waiver of liability for them. |
