Description RESCHEDULED Memorial Green Concours d’Elegance … January the 19th, 2019

This Concours was Cancelled due to 3 attempts to have it held in September of 2018 but the weather did not cooperate so it has been rescheduled to SATURDAY the 19th of JANUARY at Memorial Green located at 12505 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77024 in their back parking lot. The entrants that had shown up for the cancelled Concours were very happy with the location and amenities

About Memorial Green – Memorial Green is an upscale community offering an appealing and relaxing retreat for patrons and residents. Nestled on Memorial Drive in the heart of the neighborhood it’s distinct location and intimate scale offer an ideal balance of accessibility and privacy for residents and patrons. Memorial Green hosts a thoughtful mix of locally-owned restaurants, cafes and personal services, as well as a boutique fitness studio. The luxury destination provides the walkup charm and convenience of an established urban neighborhood for patrons and residents.

The businesses of Memorial Green are excited to be the venue of choice for this year’s Concours d’Elegance. The Memorial Green residential community and Heritage Texas Homes invite guests and members to take a stroll through the beautiful townhomes and visit the model homes for complimentary refreshments and tours. The event will boast exciting raffle prizes, delicious brunch and lunch options and a DJ.

This will be considered as the third Concours d’Elegance of 2018 and the scores will be reflected in the 2018 Divisional Championships, so based on this I have re-opened up registration as we are looking forward to starting off 2019 with a fantastic event as we build upon our well established Concours program thanks to all of you !

All entrants who have already registered will be automatically added to this new date so there is no need to re-register ONLY new entrants will need to register and pay accordingly.

People who registered for the September 2018 event and have paid will receive your shirts at the next event on November the 10th at King's Bierhaus or sooner if needed.

If you are competing you will need to arrive at 8:00 a.m. with no more cars being admitted after 9:00 a.m. (1-hour window) so that we can get everyone staged and provide you time for last minute touchups. NOTE: there will be no signing up the day of the event for competing, but you can park your car in the designated display area.

A Judges meeting will be held prior to rags down at 9:00 a.m. as judging will begin promptly thereafter. Award recognition to begin after compiling of the scores along with the conducting of a Raffle with a projected finish of 12:00 p.m. 

After the official event ends, everyone can head to the restaurants in the area for lunch with fellow Porsche enthusiast and families. Memorial Green has two restaurants available for dining, Dish Society and Jonathan’s the Rub. There is also a smoothie and juice bar, Clean Juice.

The cost of this event will be $40 per car and each participant will receive an event embroidered Polo shirt. Additional Polo shirts can be ordered when registering on line at a cost of $35. To ensure that there is not an issue with shirt manufacture, orders need to be confirmed by September the 10th.

Refund Policy Refunds will be handled on a case by case basis by the Chairman, in the case of a rainout the event will be reschedule. 
To make things clear:
(1) Application is based on the time of payment.  If, at the time of registration, you do not pay, another applicant who pays before you will be accepted before you.  Remember time of payment counts!
(2) PCA members will receive a 7-day preference before non-PCA members.  After 7-days, all applications will be treated equally.  Register early!
(3) It is your responsibility to enter your verified PCA membership number.  If no number is entered at registration, it will be assumed that you are not a PCA members.  As such, you will be treated as a non-PCA member.  It is YOUR responsibility.  If you have not entered your PCA number, it is your fault and you will lose any preference!

We will email you when your application has been accepted, which is contingent on your payment having been received.  You can always check www. ClubRegistation. net for your status. 

Verified PCA Members shall be given acceptance preference over non-members for the first 7 days that the application process is open.  After the first 7 days, applications are accepted on an as-received basis for PCA members and non-members.  This means that a non-member who submits an application and makes payment during the first seven days will have preference over a member who makes payment after the first seven days, even if applied on-line within the first seven days. 
For a PCA Member to be verified, he/she must include his/her PCA membership number, which will be verified by our system as the correct and current membership number associated with that member. 
THERE ARE NO WALK-ONS ON TH DAY OF THE EVENT, regardless of whether or not all places at the DE have been filled. 

Since it is possible to apply to participate in a DE without making payment, your application is time-stamped as to when you make payment, not as to when you made the on-line application.  Applicants are encouraged to pay at the same time as they make their application. 
Our system will record your time of payment as your application time.  Irrespective of when you apply on-line, your application will not be accepted until your payment (via PayPal) has been received.  This means that if someone applies after you but pays before you, the other person will be accepted before you.  For example, if there is only one spot available and you apply but do not pay, then someone who pays before you, even if they applied after you, will get that spot!

There are about 20 garages available for rent by participants for each event ($50 per weekend).  At the time you make your on-line application, you can request a garage. 
Garage preferences are the same as the for the application; however, you do not pay for the garages at time of application.  If you are assigned a garage, we will advise you sometime during the week before the event.  At that time, it will be necessary for you to make your payment through the on-line registration system.
